How to make T-shirts sleeveless while hiding your Bra!
Hi All-
You know how you sometimes have large T-shirts that you want to make more cool and comfortable, but when you cut the sleeves off, it reveals your bra?
1. Cut off the sleeves by following the seam. (I left a bit of the seam attached to the shirt.)
2. Slit the sleeve open so you have flat piece of material.
3. Pin the sleeve fabric to the underarm with the finished edge seam of the sleeve at the correct position to hide your bra. (The measurements might be different depending upon the T-shirt and your arm size, but in my case, I found 3" from the bottom of the armpit was the perfect place to start. )
I simply lay the fabric across the armhole and pinned around the "U". Then I stitched song the "U" very close to the edge.
4. Trim the extra fabric from the "U" and that's it!
BONUS: Cut off the neck binding and the cut a V slit.

A simple and neat way is to simply use the hemmed sleeve you've cut off to make a "modesty patch".
